We are rolling out some updates to our stock platform to make your experience smoother and more intuitive. Most of these changes are small adjustments to labels and navigation, but we hope they’ll help you find what you need faster.
Below is a quick guide to what’s changing and why.
New Terminology

| Galleries | Collections | Publicly visible sets of visuals organized by topic. |
| Collections | Lightbox | Private virtual folders for saving and organizing visuals. |
| User Dashboard / User Details | My Account | Your central hub for viewing lightboxes, downloads, and invoices/receipts. |
Galleries Are Now Collections
The change: Galleries have been renamed to Collections.
Why we did this: This aligns our terminology with common industry standards and makes it easier to discover themed image sets.
What this means for you: When browsing for image sets organized by topic, look for Collections instead of Galleries.
Existing content: All previously created galleries remain accessible; they have simply been relabeled.
Collections are now Lightboxes
The change: Your personal groups of visuals, formerly called Collections, are now called Lightboxes.
Why we did this: The term Lightbox is widely used in the photo library industry for privately saving and organizing visuals. By switching to this familiar label, we hope to make the feature feel more intuitive if you’ve used other stock media platforms.
What this means for you:
- No Data Loss: Your previously saved sets of visuals are still there.
- Privacy: Like before, only you can see your Lightbox contents unless you choose to share them.
- Navigation: You will find Lightboxes in the hamburger menu or by clicking the heart icon in the top-right corner.
User Details / User Dashboard is now My Account
The change: Your personal hub has been renamed from User Dashboard / User Details to My Account.
Why we did this: My Account is a more familiar term for managing personal settings and history. We also simplified the navigation by removing redundant sections like Search History, streamlining the experience so you can focus on what matters most. The new sidebar layout also makes it easier to move between different sections of your account without scrolling.
What this means for you:
Simpler navigation: You will now see a left-hand menu with tabs for Overview, Lightboxes, Downloads, and Orders & Billing.
- Unified downloads: The Downloads tab now includes all visuals you have downloaded – both those processed via the cart and those obtained through direct download links (for subscribers).
- To download: Click the download button in the Actions column
Actions column: Use the buttons in the Actions column to manage your files: click Open to view order details, Download to save the visuals, or Invoice to download the PDF invoice/receipt.

Cart and Checkout Redesign
The change: The cart has been redesigned into a two-pane layout for a smoother checkout experience:
- Left Pane (Selected Visuals): Here you can review your selected images and choose the appropriate license type for each visual.
Right Pane (Checkout Panel): This area displays your license holder details and allows you to proceed directly to checkout. You can also update your address details here.
Cosmetic Changes

Important Note on Order Processing
We are aware that some users have experienced orders getting stuck “In Preparation” status. If you are currently seeing this issue with an active order, please contact our support team so we can resolve this for you.
