Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
We Animals is a federally registered non-profit organization in Canada (1088408-1). Due to the investigative nature of our work, we are not a registered charity and cannot issue tax receipts.
However, U.S. donors are eligible for a tax receipt for donations over $500 USD via our fiscal sponsor, Karuna Foundation. Please contact us at development@weanimals.org to discuss this option!
What organizational expenses will my donation contribute to?
We Animals’ primary expenses include international fieldwork, camera gear, mentorship and training for animal photojournalists, image editing and preparation, digital asset management, technology maintenance, public relations, outreach, and project management. We are grateful for your generosity that allows us to continue our important work on behalf of animals.
