The photographs from the We Animals project were taken to help make visible the relationship between humans and non-human animals. These images are donated and made available for any individual or organization wishing to further advocate for animals and raise awareness about their suffering and exploitation. While payment to We Animals in exchange for photo usage is neither expected nor required,
consider making a financial contribution to the project
if you or your organization are able, as this helps me to continue doing this important work.
In return for the use of the images,
I ask that they be credited to Jo-Anne McArthur / We Animals
, including on Facebook, Pinterest and Tumblr, where credit must be included in the photo description and not in the comments section. I avoid the use of a We Animals watermark on the photos because it compromises the integrity of the image, so the photo credit is crucial. It brings more visibility to the project and to the animals, which in turn allows the project to expand and continue. Without public awareness, We Animals would not exist.
If you would like to request high-resolution images from We Animals for your organization, blog or web site, please email info[at]weanimals.org.
